Lattka Looking Good

Ex Stockrodder Tony Lattka's revamped Garry Sparkes car looks stunning, in fact Tony tells us that the only thing left from the original car (built by Tony's cousin Chris Burgoyne) is the chassis. Tony and Chris have spent a few months rebuilding the super, and originally planned for it to be finished in June, but with work commitments in the body shop for Harry and Jock Burgoyne,s garage, the deadline kept getting put back.
Tony is due to race the car at Lochgelly this Sunday and says he just needs some track time to get himself used to Superstox first, before he starts worrying about set ups. Tony has raced Stock Rods for 4 years and up until that point never really had an interest in racing, but with a family of Lattkas and Burgoynes it was inevitable that he would have a go one day, and once he did, he got the bug.

" I have always enjoyed watching Superstox at spedeweekend " said Tony, " and i really enjoyed the British Championship weekend at Lochgelly this year, so I'm looking forward to racing with those guys. I had a go in my cousin Chris' f2 at Lochgelly last year to get a taste, but F2s are expensive and i think Superstox will be better for me, i also hope to do some English meetings next year when I'm up to speed. Ive been really lucky with a lot of help from my sponsors and Chopper at HCD has been very helpful with advice over the phone."

We at Superstox.org.uk wish Tony good luck for this weekend and welcome him with his well known racing family name to the formula.
